‘On non sacred ground’ is inspired by the pagan belief that we are protected and saved by rituals and objects that possess magic powers beyond our understanding. They are based in nature or in mystical creatures, may be trough religion or espiritual.
And this is absolutely true, only that the strength that we attribute to external forces actually takes its power from within ourselves, they embody our resilience, each being fix their pain under their own narrative, with their own rituals and create different relics on their way.
